Coding teacher for children

You teach children aged 8 to 16 to code. The content is ready: you teach it and help each child finish their project.

Place: Brussels (Ixelles) or online
Contract: Part time, student contract
Hours: You pick your slots: weekdays after school, Wednesdays, weekends and the holidays
Pay: €17 to €20 an hour

The role

Every week you teach the same class of up to 8 children, at the same time, all year. During the holidays you can also lead five-day bootcamps on site in Ixelles.

The team handles trial lessons, sign-ups and talking with families. You teach.

What you will do

Lead your classes with the learning paths on our platform.
Help each child finish a real project: a game, a website, an app.
Take attendance on the day.
Tell us when an exercise is too hard or a child is falling behind.

This is for you if

You can code and you can explain a loop to an 8-year-old.
You explain again without getting annoyed.
You hold the line: a rule stays a rule.
You are reliable: 10 minutes early, and if you cannot come, you warn us with a solution.
You speak fluent French and English. Classes are taught in French.
You can commit to the same slot for at least 6 months.
